It's rather amusing, but it doesn't exactly portray Toothless in the best manners. You attempt to draw with muscularity which as I can see has made the dragon's feature's unproportional to its entire body. The dragon's face doesn't look exactly like Toothless does (I suggest to use a reference next time). The claws don't have the proper curve Toothless would have, therefore giving them a very flat and floppy look. The tail seems to come out of no-where, and if was to appear by this side of teh body, the back legs would be visible. The wing's attachment is also quite unproportionally attached to the body. IF referring to aerodynamics, the wings must be at such an angle and attachment, so that the plane (or dragon) could fly. Here, there is only one stiff attachment as if another arm, and it wouldn't be able to support the weight of the dragon itself. The tail, bent in such a way, and the size of the tail wings in such a manner, also contradicts flight. As for the coloring, it was done quite nicely, there is a clear shadowing effect, that isn't random or over-done. But hey, we're not perfect keep working, it's where we all start.
